This is not the lightest journal (300g), but it is a wonderful gift for a traveller or a writer. The packaging is lovely and the product is handcrafted may of genuine leather.  It is similar to the Medori journal range, and you can easily purchase refills. They do have a pocket version if you are more of a bullet note-taker, rather than a storyteller.  I use the plain refills, but they do have a wide range of options, from lined, grid, diary, calendar, to-do list etc.    Coupled with a little Polaroid Zip printer, this is the perfect journaling system for the adventurous mind.
