HELINOX CHAIR ONE MINI
£64.95
I have a regular ultralight chair that I use on weekend trips, but as get older, I really do need a chair for my long-distance hikes. Sitting on a wet floor or log without any back support is quite uncomfortable once you reach a certain age! Helinox brand is the Rolls Royce of backpacking chairs, but the regular sizes are very expensive (£100+). I stumbled upon the “mini” which was created for children, but it takes up to 14stone / 90kg and I thought “let’s give it a go and see if I can fit in it – see video below).
- CHAIR ONE MINI is a cross between a seat and a stool and features a featherweight (0.5 kg), compact, portable design.
- Proprietary aluminium alloy frame ensures maximum strength with minimum weight; holds up to 90 kg.
- Removable seat and zippered carrying case are made from durable, 600-weave rip-stop polyester; machine-washable.
- Setup is easy and fast with a single internal bungee cord that self assembles the poles.
