Your Trails

Check out our club members trail name stories!

I've met a number of people on the trail who use a different name to their regular name.  I remember smiling to myself when I found out that a fellow hiker called herself a new name every time she went on the Camino, it was her way of escaping the real world for a few weeks.

Naturally, our club members and people that we have met on our travels end up with nicknames (or trail names).  Read the stories below and please feel free to add yourself to the register by completing this form

Story:

I walked the Camino in 2016 with my mum when I was just 13 years old. On that first trip I bought a rather large jar of Nutella but had nothing to eat it with. In the shop they only sold packets of x 20 plastic spoons, so that is what I bought! On my second Camino trip I was 15 years old. I still had lots of plastic spoons in my pack and refused to take them out. My favourite number is 22, so the trail name 22 Spoons was born. By the way, I no longer eat chocolate!
