Waterproof trousers are noisy when walking, get muddy when you put your feet inside them and make you hot and sweaty. Now, I know that these rain kilts are not exactly the best-looking things on the market, but you can put them on super quick without taking off your backpack, they are light, they don’t flap around like I was expecting and they keep the wind and rain from your body. I love my little rain-skirt.
