July 26, 2021 @ 9:45 am - 12:00 pm BST

Join us on this pointy map walk, which includes a stretch along the canal and across open fields.

Note, please arrive by 9.45 am we will set off at 10am sharp

These are private events for AG members only. You will need your AG membership number to book a ticket.

Risk Assessment / Scope walks- These walks are not regular walks. These walks have been mapped on a computer, but we still need to walk them to record trip hazards, exit points, and physically map the trail. This may result in footpaths not existing, or overgrown sections, bridges can be down etc – squiggles guaranteed! NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THESE WALKS.

Pointy Map Walks – these are walks that have already been risk-assessed, but require you to “point the way” so that we can create a downloadable PDF for the website.

MEETING PLACE: Meet in the car park at Middlemore Pub.

ABOUT THE WALK – grade:  Moderate Route (just under 5 miles)

This is a walk that has been created by Melissa Symonds   – who will be leading the trail. We will top to “point” at each direction, and also look geocaches and two photo challenges along the way.

  • Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).
  • A drink and snacks.
