June 10, 2019 @ 6:15 pm - 8:15 pm BST

Note, please arrive by 6.15pm, we will set off at 6.30pm sharp)

Your walk leader tonight is Julie Brown – pictured to the left in the cover photo.  (Thank you Julie!)

Watermill Lane Car Park, Wolverton, Milton Keynes MK12 5NZ – (or you can park at the Pub next door (Wolverton House (Stonehouse Pub) Stratford Road) and walk round to the car park) – we most likely go to the pub afterwards for a drink and perhaps a stonebaked pizza.

ABOUT THE WALK – grade: Easy to Moderate Route.

Starting from Watermill Lane Car Park (no charge), we will walk along the Ouse Valley Trail heading towards the town of Stony Stratford. We walk along the tow-path for a good distance before heading back through the town and straight down the high street. There is quite a bit of history associated with Stony Stratford, therefore we will share an impromptu history lesson as we walk through the town. There is no time for browsing in the cute boutique shops, as we head out of town and make our way back to the car park.

  • A hi-vis vest is recommended as there is an element of road walking on this route.

  • Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).

  • A drink and snacks.

VIDEO: We scope all of the routes before leading them. You can find the video. here
