THE NUBA SCULPTURE

The Nuba Survival (often mistakenly called The Nuba Embrace) is a sculpture by John Buckley beside a very derelict barn in a field in rural Oxfordshire.

John (also famous for the Headington Shark sculpture which is also impressively weird!), created the embracing skeletons in 2001 after he visited the Nuba peoples in Sudan
