*NEW* BRINGTON’S NORTHANTS WALK – 4.4 MILES (7KM)

August 30, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm BST

Brington Walk with Adventure Geek. Northants walks

Julia and Rachel are this week's walk leaders

Walk Leaders: Julia & Rachel

Meeting place: Park in the Church car park, or on the road nearby.

Distance: 4.4 miles (7.1 km)

We should cover this walk in just under two hours, but please make sure that you bring along a snack and water. If we are lucky then the church will be open (it's a lovely church and worth a visit). Rumour says that this is the official burial place for Lady Diana, but we will never really know!)

Difficulty: Mainly off-road including across grass fields. There are a few steep ups & downs, hence the “moderate” grading.

See you there! Please remember to share this walk. The more the merrier.

PS – We will be stopping for a drink and perhaps a bite to eat at Althorp Coaching Inn – Cosy inn with oak beams, flagstone floors, log fires and a cellar restaurant serving British fare. – Everyone is welcome to join us.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU?

  • Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).
  • Long trousers are recommended as we do have some overgrown areas.
  • It's over 4 miles, so please bring a bottle of water and perhaps a snack
  • Money for a drink in the pub afterwards (Not essential, but we welcome everyone to join us).
  • For those with dogs, please be aware that we have one field of cows (although there is a small divert route which I would recommend using).

Meet at 6.20pm, with a view to starting the walk at 6.30pm.
