Evening Walk Around Salcey Forest (5 Miles)

July 19, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm BST

Charlene – your walk leader

Walk Leader: Charlene Bonini

Join us for an evening walk on Thursday evening around the beautiful, peaceful Salcey Forest.
PARK: Smaller car park (not the main car park as this closes at 7pm) or in the layby outside.
MEET: Outside the cafe at 6.20pm.
Salcey Forest is an oasis of nature and history only 7 miles from the centre of Northampton. Wildlife and history are in abundance at this ancient semi-natural woodland.
You'll meander through oak, conifer, horse chestnut and a lovely area of beach as you enjoy your long walk through the woods.
The trail can get extremely muddy during cooler months, so please dress accordingly. This trail follows a combination of surfaced and unsurfaced routes, so walking boots are recommended. Please be aware that horseriders and cyclists share part of its route
For satnav purposes, the postcode is NN7 2HX.
