March 21, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm GMT

A lovely scenic walk in the Cotswolds which starts from the National Trust Snowshill Manor, via Broadway & Broadway Tower.

PARKING: Snowshill Manor (the Manor opens at 11 am, so we can visit when we return from the walk).  The gardens are also amazing.

ABOUT THE WALK – grade:  Moderate Route

A lovely scenic walk in the Cotswolds starting at the quaint delightful village of Snowshill, passing through the village of Broadway.  Broadway is such a fantastic small town that has the feeling of stepping back in time as we pass its unique little shops & cafes.   We will climb up to Broadway Tower  (and we may visit the nuclear bunker!).  We will also stop for coffee and cake at Broadway Tower Cafe.

If you saw the TV program hosted by Julia Bradbury, then you will know that Broadway Tower is part of the 100 top UK walks.  This is a challenging walk, due to the steep inclines and declines, but the views are well worth the increase in your pulse rate for a short while.

  • Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).

  • We will be eating lunch at Broadway town, and then we will also be stopping at the cafe at Broadway Tower, so please bring cash with you.  Alternatively, please supply your own pack lunch.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No.  Just bring yourself and then tell the organizers your name when you arrive.  We will then check you in.
