Choosing your trail

Have you picked yours yet?

It is part of the “hiking culture” to have a trail name. It is a nickname that is bequeathed to you by your hiking comrades, or you can pick your own.  It’s similar to a Twitter handle.

If you are a keen geocacher then you would already have a caching name which you can use as your trail name, (I bet you can guess what my trail name is…. Adventure Geek!).

Your trail name will reflect something about you or your personality.  I love travelling and exploring the world, but I am not far away from the latest gadget or technology, hence my trail name of Adventure Geek.
